Carers Rights Day Friday 24 November 2017: What are my rights as a carer?
Having the right information at the right time can make a huge difference when you are looking after someone.
Each year we take part in Carers Rights Day, a national awareness day to help carers know their rights and find out how to get the help and support they are entitled to: learn more.
The theme of this year's Carers Rights Day is Make Connections, Get Support. Contact the Carers Support Centre to see how we can help you.
You can also find information and advice for carers in our useful information section.
Together Disabled Carers Group Launch
Together, a grassroots group for disabled carers in Croydon, will be launching at the Carers Support Centre on Friday 24 November, 12noon - 3pm as part of Carers’ Rights Day.
There will be the opportunity to enjoy free lunch, meet other disabled carers and hear from local politicians, including Croydon Central MP Sarah Jones.
If you are interested in attending this event or for further information, please contact the group coordinator Mandy Maddock on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07889 971 713.
