The Bereavement Café is somewhere you can speak freely and share stories with others who are also coping with losing a loved one. It is a space to talk about the pain of loss but also to find courage and strength in knowing you are not alone. Here it is okay to cry and laugh, to be angry or frightened. You may be more of a talker or better at quietly listening. Sometimes it’s good just to have a cup of tea and hear people’s stories. Anyone who has experienced the loss of someone close to them, no matter how recent or long ago, is welcome to join. The café is facilitated by Tanya Fitzgerald, our Carers Bereavement Counsellor. Our next virtual café falls during National Grief Awareness Week. For the zoom invitation link please email TanyaFitzgerald@carersinfo.org.uk or call 020 8649 6280.
