Croydon carers will get everybody dancing this Sunday with a special performance at Croydon Mela.

Croydon Carers Creative Dance Class will join other community groups for a live dance performance of Rowdy Baby as part of the free festivities in Wandle Park on Sunday 14 July 2019.

Audiences can catch the live performance based on the popular Tamil film song at the Dance Dhamaka stage at 5.30pm.

Anusha Subramanyam of Beeja Dance who leads the Carers Creative Dance Class said: “Croydon carers are a great group of people. Their enthusiasm and readiness to just be part of anything is wonderful and it’s really lovely that they are going to be part of this dance at the Croydon Mela.”

We’ll be recreating a popular Tamil film song which has had nearly 6,000,000 hits. It’s sure to get everybody dancing!”

Croydon Carers Creative Dance Class meets weekly during term-time on a Friday morning at the Carers Support Centre:
