We have lots on for carers throughout the week including:

  • Information and advice for carers all week from our friendly advice workers
  • Free goodies for carers to take away
  • Coffee/tea and chat at the Carers Café every weekday morning 10.30am-12.30pm except Wednesday and special afternoon sessions 1.30pm-3.30pm
  • Drop in Carers Singing Group and Craft & Chatter session
  • Annual Carers Information Day at Fairfield Halls, 10am-4pm
  • Free Pilates and tai chi taster sessions (NOW FULLY BOOKED - WAITING LIST ONLY)

Carers Support Centre

Carers are welcome to drop in Monday to Friday, 10am - 4pm, for information and advice.

Details of What's On at the Carers Support Centre

Carers Cafe

The Carers Café is open every Monday to Friday, 10.30am – 12.30pm and is supported by a team of volunteers. Whilst in the Café, carers can have free refreshments, read or take away books and magazines, and access Wi-Fi. We also host a number of regular events in the Café.  

Membership Card

Membership of the Carers Support Centre means carers can access the Carers Cafe, get discounts at local shops and eateries, and provides a useful proof of caring status.

Advice Surgeries and Drop Ins

The Carers Support Centre hosts regular advice surgeries on topics such as Debt, Welfare Benefits, Mental Health, and Special Educational Needs.

Free Training

We provide free training and information sessions for carers living in Croydon. Topics include First Aid, Listening Skills, Dealing with Stress, and Moving and Handling.
